At Harborside Veterinary Care Animal Hospital, we believe that every pet deserves to live a happy and healthy life. Our main focus is on preventative care and always considering management of pain, mobility and overall comfort. Our aim is to provide individual care plans & options. This community cares deeply about their companion animals, and we want to help them continue to engage in and enjoy their favorite daily activities.
A regular physical examination is an important part of your pet’s health care. Expect a head to toe exam and please come with any questions or concerns you particularly want addressed during the visit. In addition to the exam, we will review your pet’s vaccination history. Through a careful risk assessment individual to each pet, we will booster any recommended vaccinations at that time.
We want to partner with you in your pet's health. Expect questions on current medications, diet, travel history and questions on both physical and mental health. Touching base with your veterinarian in combination with performing general screening and lab work at regular intervals can help to detect pain, arthritis, chronic diseases and lead to a better quality of life for your pet.
